Welcome to the Tighnabruaich Hotel
The Tighnabruaich Hotel, a former coach house, is a Victorian style sandstone building
from 1877, located on the sea side in Tighnabruaich, Cowal Peninsula, Argyll.
We're only 50 miles from Glasgow by ferry (or 80 by road) and 26 miles from Dunoon.
The hotel overlooks the beautiful waters of the Kyles of Bute, best known for its scenery and quality of sailing. On a clear day you can also overlook the isle of Inchmarnock, the Holy Isle and Arran.
The rooms
There are nine rooms in our hotel which are all en-suite. Four of them are situated on the ground floor (handy for the less able). Seven of our rooms have a view across the water and the Isle of Bute.
All our rooms are spacious and have high ceilings, and central heating throughout. Naturally, all the basic facilities, such as tea, coffee and TV are provided in each room. All the bathrooms have a bath, toilet and wash basin, most of them with overhead shower. We regularly refurbish the rooms to keep them to a good and clean standard.
